As you will know, as a school, we have so many EPs come out and visit us, I just couldn’t help but feedback to you what a wonderful experience we have had as a school. Beth spent time across school and a lot of time with our pastoral team las we are the ones who know the child best), and every person said ‘she’s amazing!’ Or ‘how lovely is she’. The warmth she gave the little boy she was working with, he loved her. Even at lunch, we have really vulnerable children in our school who come to our room, Beth made a real effort to talk and chat to them when they were waffling onto her admittedly whilst she was trying to have her lunch).
I know ultimately we are paying for a service, but we just feel Beth went above and beyond, and we just loved having her in our school. We are lucky to have her back next week too!
From this experience, we will undoubtedly be looking at working further with your team, as it was so refreshing to feel so heard, not rushed, and the questions felt like they were really trying to understand the child, as opposed to ticking a box! All with a laugh along the way!
